Petition for Presidential Pardon for Chi Bui

Petition for Presidential Pardon for Chi Bui
The Issue
To the Office of the Pardon Attorney:
We, the undersigned family members, friends, colleagues, and community supporters of Chi Bui, respectfully request your consideration in granting a Presidential Pardon.
Chi was convicted of 21 USC 841(a)(1) & 18 USC 2 (distribution of a controlled substance & aiding and abetting) on October 20, 2009. Since that time, he has accepted full responsibility for his actions and has demonstrated sincere remorse, rehabilitation, and a deep commitment to living a life of integrity and service.
Over the years, Chi has worked hard to rebuild his life and contribute positively to the community by paying taxes, donating, volunteering, ministering, mentoring, and fulfilling his family responsibilities. Those of us who know Chi personally can attest to his compassion, faith, and unwavering dedication to helping others.
We believe Chi has earned the opportunity for a second chance — one that would allow him to fully restore his rights, stay united with his family, and continue making a difference in the lives of others. A Presidential Pardon would not only recognize Chi’s rehabilitation but also bring hope and healing to his family and community.
We respectfully ask that you consider this request for clemency with compassion and understanding. We are also asking the government to intervene and halt Chi’s deportation while we pursue all available legal avenues. We are doing everything within our power to seek justice and remain together as a family.
Please note: All donations made go directly to the website, Change.org.
