Petition for Pity in Another Eden

The issue

Dear Another Eden,

As dedicated players of Another Eden, we are writing to express our deep concern over the current state of the game's summoning system. We believe that the absence of a pity system is detrimental to the player experience and is causing significant frustration within the community.

Many of us have spent considerable amounts of chrono stones on banners without obtaining the featured characters. For instance, I have personally pulled on 25 banners and spent 75,000 paid chrono stones, yet I have not received the featured character. This situation is not unique to me; it is a common occurrence among players.

In other Gashapon games, there are mechanisms in place to ensure that players eventually obtain the characters they are after. Games like Fate Grand Order, Dokkan Battle, Genshin Impact, and Pokémon Masters  EX all have pity systems that guarantee players receive the featured characters after a certain number of pulls. These systems provide a sense of progression and fairness, making players feel valued and their investments worthwhile.

In Another Eden, however, there is no such safety net. Players can spend thousands of stones without any assurance of obtaining the desired characters. This lack of a pity system leaves players feeling frustrated and undervalued. For example, I have spent 32,000 free stones for Sazanca, and another player in our community has spent 120,000 stones without getting Another Style Radias. These experiences are disheartening and unsustainable.

We strongly urge you to consider implementing a pity system in Another Eden. This could be in the form of guaranteed unit-specific star charts per pull or after a set number of attempts. Such a system would not only improve player satisfaction but also encourage continued investment in the game.

We appreciate your attention to this matter and hope you will consider our feedback seriously. Implementing a pity system would demonstrate your commitment to the player community and enhance the overall gaming experience.

Thank you for your time and understanding.

Sincerely,

Paul
