We, the undersigned, respectfully request that Tuscarora High School receive new scoreboards for our baseball, softball, and football fields.

For over 23 years, Tuscarora High School has proudly served our community, developing not only strong students but also dedicated athletes. However, our scoreboards—original to when the school opened—are now outdated, malfunctioning, and beyond repair. Replacement parts are no longer available, and visibility is poor for both players and spectators.

Despite these challenges, our athletes continue to compete with pride and heart. Yet, the lack of functioning scoreboards sends an unfortunate message—that our programs and students are being overlooked compared to other schools with updated facilities.

We believe our students deserve better.
A modern, working scoreboard is more than just a piece of equipment—it’s a source of school spirit, community pride, and a visible symbol of investment in our youth. It also benefits the Tuscarora junior feeder teams, who regularly use our fields and look up to our high school athletes as role models.

By signing this petition, we are showing our unified support for this much-needed improvement. Our goal is to ensure that every athlete and fan—whether on the field, in the stands, or part of the broader community—can take pride in Tuscarora’s facilities.

We ask the Board of Education to prioritize funding for new, safe, and fully functional scoreboards for baseball, softball, and football at Tuscarora High School.
