In Episode 3, Season 9 of Love is Blind, Mike made statements about Type 1 Diabetes (T1D) that are incorrect and incredibly harmful to the T1D community. 

This is a common misconception about diabetes. Type one diabetes is not caused by diet and as the T1D community, we are asking for 

1. A chance for Jordan to address this at the reunion episode. Everyone’s T1D journey is their own, and he deserves a chance to address this for himself.
2. Accurate information about type one diabetes be provided to the audience from a reputable source, such as Breakthrough T1D https://www.breakthrought1d.org/t1d-basics/
3. Text on screen at the end of the reunion episode, talking about the signs and symptoms of type one diabetes and where to find more information 

It is our hope, as the type one diabetes community, that Netflix and Love is Blind will use this as an educational opportunity to help change and potentially save lives.
