To the Parents/Staff of De La Vina Elementary School and RGV Community,

We, the undersigned parents, concerned community members, teachers, and staff members, join together in solidarity to advocate for critical changes within our beloved school. Our collective voice represents a commitment to the well-being and success of all students, staff, teachers, and parents at De La Vina Elementary School.

Recent events have highlighted significant concerns that have shaken our trust and confidence in school leadership. From the sudden departure of dedicated teachers and staff to the mishandling of reported incidents of child abuse, it is clear that action must be taken to ensure a safe, transparent, and supportive environment for all members of our school community.

In addition to demanding transparency, accountability, we petition an immediate leadership change at De La Viña. With this approach, we aim for the creation of a safe space where students, staff, teachers, and parents feel empowered to voice their concerns and grievances without fear of retaliation. Every member of our community plays a vital role in the success of our school, and it is essential that their voices are heard and respected.

Therefore, we call upon the school board, district officials, and school leadership to prioritize the needs and concerns of all stakeholders and to take immediate action to address the issues raised in this petition. Together, we can work towards creating a better future for our children and ensuring that De La Vina Elementary School remains a place where every student, teacher and staff member can feel fully SUPPORTED in order to thrive and succeed.
