Petition for Lakewood Springs HOA (Plano, IL) to allow Residents Privacy Fencing

Petition for Lakewood Springs HOA (Plano, IL) to allow Residents Privacy Fencing
The Issue
Do you live in Lakewood Springs in Plano, IL and wish to have a 6ft privacy fence? From what I understand, if 2/3 of the community petition for privacy fencing we have the chance to amend the 4ft fencing rule.
Between my personal experience of my dog being attacked 6 times with neighboring dogs that are larger dogs, each time being OVER the fence, and the countless posts and comments of dogs being loose/jumping fences, I thought starting this petition might not hurt to try.
What's most at stake for not changing this rule is our pets, children, and self safety.
Benefits to allowing 6ft privacy fencing include:
-privacy in itself
-safety of dogs and people, as God forbid the next time a dog attacks it's a person, and worse a child.
-unfortunately some neighbors don't love eachother, and hey, this could prevent some quarrels.
-yards you might find unsightly won't be on display
From what I understand the HOA board elections aren't far away, so this is the perfect opportunity to have the residents voices heard
***Only one signature per address and it must be an owner, not a renter. If someone owns more than 1 LWS property, their signature will count for however many they own***
