Dear Westphalia Residents and supportive stakeholders,

Thank you for your immense support, we are almost at 200 signatures. This is almost a single community full of homes. Keep sending the petition around, I know we are getting a lot of attention. Thank you for joining our fight within Westridge to include Parkside, Westridge, and all other developments within Westphalia!

This fight is not just about one homeowner, it’s about all of us. It’s about our rights as homeowners and our demand for justice. We have been sold a dream of homeownership, but what we received was a housing injustice. We are now standing up and fighting back.

We are dealing with issues of mortgage fraud, noise disturbances, and other concerns that affect our quality of life. These are not isolated incidents but systemic problems that need to be addressed at the highest levels. We are taking our fight to the Maryland Attorney General, the Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD), the VA Office of Inspector General (OIG), the Federal Trade Commission, and the Department of Justice.

But we can’t do this alone. We need your help to bring pressure on the Prince George’s County Department of Permitting, Inspection, and Enforcement. We need you to stand with us, to raise your voices, and to demand justice.

This is why your support is so crucial. Every signature on this petition sends a strong message to these agencies that we will not be silenced. We will not be ignored. We will stand up for our rights and demand the justice we deserve.

Thank you for standing with us. Your support makes a difference. Together, we can bring about the change we want to see in our community. Stand with us, spread the word, and let’s fight for our housing rights together.

29 Apr 2024 (Story Time - Picture)  DRB attorney says screw my housing rights

I am a homeowner in Westphalia, standing up for our housing rights. Recently, I was approached by the legal representative of Dan Ryan Builders (DRB), presumably due to an ongoing review of my claim against them by the Maryland Attorney General, among other state and federal agencies. I respectfully requested that they refrain from contact until all investigations related to my civil rights, housing discrimination, and mortgage fraud complaints are concluded. Despite this, their attorney reached out again.

I reminded them of my right to seek redress for retaliation upon informing them of my pending federal housing rights and complaints, and demanded that they cease and desist. This response clearly shows their disregard for our housing rights. They are so averse to mediation through the Maryland Attorney General that they now want to involve Prince George’s DPIE.

This tactic of involving as many parties as possible is an attempt to undermine our rights as minority homeowners. But I recognize this strategy, and like many others, I am standing up for my rights. I am informing them that we will be proceeding with the Maryland Attorney General. They do not have permission to access my home to gather evidence to counter my allegations of mortgage fraud, noise, and other issues. Stay tuned for more updates!
