Where did “Gracie” go after entering NECCOG’s care on 04/09/2026?

Since the day she was brought in, there has not been a single public post announcing her arrival or showing any visible effort to locate her original owner. Not one.

We were told she was advertised in the Norwich Bulletin. We looked into that claim and confirmed it was false. So now the public deserves answers.

Where is Gracie?
Was she quietly placed somewhere?
Did an employee take her home because she was cute?
Was she euthanized without transparency?

These are serious questions that should never have to be asked about an animal in the care of a taxpayer-funded agency. Accountability and honesty should be the bare minimum.

Instead, when questions were asked, the response from NECCOG’s director was rude, dismissive, and unprofessional.

So we’re asking again, publicly and clearly:

Where is Gracie?

The community deserves the truth.
