We, the undersigned, seek to preserve and honour the historic significance of Commando Bay, where Chinese Canadian commandos once trained during the Second World War.

We respectfully request the enhancement of interpretive signage at Commando Bay to recognize the volunteers’ contributions and to safeguard the site’s heritage value.

At present, the area lacks clear and informative signage to help visitors appreciate its important place in Canadian history.
