Reliable internet in rural areas has been an ongoing issue. With the increase in remote jobs and internet-based school work, fast and reliable internet is needed more than ever. Currently, some Indiana counties (such as Jackson and Orange county) provide Fiber internet to their REMC customers (see below article from 2018).
