We are reaching out to share an update based tonight's meeting.

There was a notable turnout to discuss our school's current status. The petition, despite its controversy, emerged as a major talking point and frustration. Parents shared their perspectives, concerns about the direction of the school, expressing both frustrations and support for various issues, while also offering insights into the character of our school leaders and their dedication to the FHCS community. So if there is one benefit of all of this is that it got everyone talking and realizing there is more that needs to be done.

With that said, the board has chosen to maintain their positions and plan to move forward with their plan for closed meetings. They will share a video from ACSI explaining the reasoning behind the proposed shift towards closed meetings with quarterly gatherings which may possibly have the option to be monthly.

We extend our heartfelt thanks to the 40+ families who signed the petition and shared your stories. We pray that you continue to communicate with our Administration and Board to help keep things moving in the right direction.
