Dear Flint Hills Families,
Tonight's Board Meeting (4/8, 6p CST) is a pivotal moment where our faith, our children, and our community intersect. We urge all who have signed our petition or are considering it to join us this evening. The continued collaboration between Elementary and Secondary parents serves as a powerful testament to the fact that despite being told we were the minority by the Board, our unified voice resonates as the true majority within the school community.
We recognize that there are complexities behind the issues we face, but our primary concern is ensuring the well-being and Spiritual growth of our students. Change must start from the top to safeguard our children's future, the top oversees the Administration therefore responsibility remains on their shoulders.
Should the Board choose to resign tonight, know that parents from both Elementary and Secondary levels have collaborated on a comprehensive plan, linked below. This unified effort spans across all grades, emphasizing our collective dedication to our children's education and welfare. We want to bring God back to our school and transparency to our parents. We want to understand where money has been spent these last 3 years and why the previously provided, comprehensive financial reports abruptly ceased.
Tonight's Board Meeting represents a significant moment in our journey. The reference of our school being like Nineveh came up in conversations with members of our community, which in itself shows just how far we have fallen as Christians. We urge all who have signed our petition or are considering it to join us this evening.
In the spirit of Nineveh's repentance, we gather with hope and determination, recognizing the complexities of the challenges before us. Our foremost concern remains the welfare and future of our students, the torchbearers of our faith. As the walls of Nineveh crumbled under the weight of collective prayer and action, so too shall we stand together to ensure that our children thrive in an environment rooted in righteousness and integrity.
Let's stand united for our children and for the values our school represents. Together, we can make a difference. We encourage every one of you to join us tonight as we save our school from what may be an inevitable collapse.
Blessings,
FHCS Community
