To the Members of the Board of Education,

We, the undersigned members of the school community—parents, guardians, educators, and residents—are writing to formally express our deep concern regarding the current state of leadership within our school district under the present Superintendent.

Over the past several years, many families and staff members have observed a troubling shift in district culture. What was once a collaborative, transparent, and student-centered environment has increasingly become characterized by fear, limited communication, and a lack of trust between the administration, educators, and the community it serves.

Key Concerns Raised by the School Community
Culture of Fear and Retaliation
Numerous educators and staff members report feeling unable to voice professional concerns or advocate openly for students due to fear of retaliation or job insecurity. A healthy school district depends on educators being empowered to speak honestly and professionally without fear.

Breakdown in Transparency and Communication
Parents and guardians are frequently left without clear, timely, or complete information regarding decisions that directly impact their children’s education. This lack of transparency undermines families’ ability to partner effectively with schools and erodes confidence in district leadership.

Administrative Priorities That Do Not Center Students
There is a growing perception that administrative efforts are focused on managing optics and avoiding accountability rather than addressing systemic issues, supporting teachers, or responding meaningfully to student needs.

Erosion of Trust in District Leadership
Trust is the foundation of a successful school district. At present, many stakeholders feel unheard, dismissed, or discouraged from raising valid concerns through established channels. Repeated attempts to resolve issues constructively have resulted in little to no meaningful change.

It signals the urgent need for reflection, corrective action, and leadership that genuinely aligns with the district’s stated mission and values.
