I would like to petition Brunswick Baths to permanently swap the Mens' and Womens' changing areas as we early birds experienced on Friday morning 28th August. The Mens' changing area is twice as large as the Womens, which is a historical relic. However given how many Mums and Bubs/Young Children with prams go the pool, more than Dad's and Bubs/Young Children, the extra space in what is now the Mens' area would be very practical. 

This would give families more room, and make it easier for other women to navigate around the prams in peak times i.e. the morning and after school times. 

To help raise awareness, for anyone with any spare time and quirky musical ability, subject to copyright issues being OK, feel free to edit/record this little ditty based on  the bovine genius of Dana Lyons from last century (1996):

Dad strolled to the palace, where few prams would reign 

 

We will fight for prams with freedom
And hold those large carts nigh 
If our Mums can, change with bub in tow
