Allegiant airlines currently flies from Kansas City MCI to various airports in and near Florida (VPS, PGD, PIE, GUF), however they dropped the MCI to SFB (Sanford Orlando) route. These flights were ALWAYS full and Sanford Airport is just Northeast of Orlando, meaning a less than half hour drive to Orlando attractions). Kansas City would benefit from this flight due to the cheap no frills fares and features of Allegiant Airlines (not to mention their planes are VERY nice, and the Sanford Airport is MUCH easier to Navigate than the MCO Orlando Airport. It also has full rental car services). This is also a great flight endpoint if you are heading to the coast (Daytona, St Augustine, New Smyrna, etc). If marketed properly (so that Kansas City passengers understand that Sanford is a suburb of Orlando), these flights would be 100% full 100% of the time.  I am gathering signatures to prove this to the route planners at Allegiant Airlines. I appreciate your participation in this matter (if you choose to sign the petition).
