We, the undersigned residents and stakeholders of South Crest and Tulisa Park, strongly oppose the proposed development project slated for Portion 592 of the Farm Elandsfontein 108 IR, South Crest, Alberton. This project raises significant concerns about the safety, well-being, and sustainability of our neighborhood.

The proposed development threatens to:

Disrupt our quality of life with increased traffic, noise, and pollution.
Overburden already strained infrastructure and public services, including:
Electricity supply,
Water supply,
Wastewater disposal,
Stormwater management, and
Household rubbish removal.
Impact underground water supplies, potentially causing boreholes to run dry.
Decrease the value of our properties due to the introduction of "low-cost housing."
Harm local green spaces, wildlife habitats, and the environment.
Alter the unique character, charm, and integrity of our community.
We call upon the City Council, Planning Commission and Relevant Authorities to reject this development proposal. Instead, we urge them to prioritise sustainable, community-focused planning initiatives that reflect the values and needs of South Crest residents.
