To: Emberly Homeowners Association, Inc.

From: Concerned Residents of Emberly

We, the undersigned residents of Emberly, respectfully petition against the recent decision to grant Brookewater residents temporary access to Emberly’s amenities.

Our Concerns:

Overcrowding & Reduced Access: Granting outside residents access will likely cause overcrowding, longer wait times, and diminished enjoyment of the amenities we pay for.

Financial Burden: While Brookewater residents are paying a fee, Emberly homeowners already fund these amenities through HOA dues. This arrangement does not reduce our costs but may increase wear and maintenance expenses.

Security & Safety Risks: Allowing non-residents regular access increases the risk of security breaches and reduces the exclusivity and safety we expect in our community.

Lack of Homeowner Input: This decision was made without proper consultation or vote from Emberly residents, whose dues and investments support these amenities.

Our Request:

We demand that the Emberly HOA:

  1. Revoke the decision to allow Brookewater residents access to Emberly amenities.
  2. If the HOA insists on pursuing this arrangement, submit the matter to a full homeowner vote before implementation.
  3. Ensure that any future changes affecting Emberly amenities or dues require direct homeowner approval.

By signing below, we affirm our opposition to this arrangement and request immediate action from the Emberly HOA to protect the rights and interests of Emberly residents.
