Dear Members of the Homeowners' Association Board,

We, the undersigned homeowners residing in Lakes on the Green community, are writing this petition to express our profound discontent, disapproval, and anger regarding the recent implementation of new rules and regulations concerning the parking of vehicles on the street while visiting a homeowner. We believe these rules are unreasonable, unfair, and have been imposed upon us without our consent or the opportunity for democratic participation.

We take great pride in our community and have always been supportive of efforts to maintain its appearance and functionality. However, we feel that these new rules have overstepped boundaries and infringe on our rights as homeowners. The following are our primary concerns:

Lack of Consultation: The imposition of these rules without any prior consultation or opportunity for homeowners to vote on the matter is deeply concerning. As homeowners, we believe we should have a say in decisions that directly impact our daily lives and property values.

Unreasonably Restrictive: The new rules place unreasonable restrictions on where visitors can park their vehicles when visiting our homes. These restrictions not onlv inconvenience our guests but also create tension among neighbors, as homeowners are now forced to deal with the added burden of finding alternative parking solutions.

Limited Visitor Parking: Our community already faces challenges with limited visitor parking spaces. The new regulations exacerbate this issue by further limiting the available parking options for our guests. This causes undue stress and inconvenience for both homeowners and their visitors.

Negative Impact on Property Values: The restrictive parking rules may negatively affect property values within the Lakes on the Green community. Potential buyers may be discouraged from investing in homes here due to the impracticality of these regulations.

Inadequate Guest Parking: Unlike certain communities with no guest parking spaces at all, our new rules provide no clear guidance on where visitors can park during family gatherings or special occasions. This leaves homeowners at a loss, as we seek to accommodate our guests and maintain positive relationships with our neighbors.

We, the undersigned homeowners, urge you to take our concerns seriously and engage with the community in a transparent and democratic manner. We believe that any changes to our community's rules should be made through a democratic process, involving input and votes from all homeowners.
