Petition: Add More Lighted Sand Volleyball Courts in Folsom

The Issue

Folsom’s sand volleyball community is growing, but current court availability is not keeping up with demand.

At Livermore Park with four courts, they are consistently full during spring and summer, with players regularly waiting to rotate in or competing for space. This demonstrates that current facilities are already insufficient.

As Folsom continues to expand and new parks are being developed without lighted sand volleyball courts in mind.

We are requesting that the City of Folsom and the Folsom Parks & Recreation Commission include at least 3 to 4 sand lighted volleyball courts in new and future park developments.

Adding additional courts will:

Reduce overcrowding at existing parks
Provide accessible recreation for residents
Support organized leagues, tournaments, and community events
Promote health and outdoor activity.

We, the undersigned, support expanding sand volleyball court capacity in Folsom.
