City council is trying to allow a high density infill of homes 79 homes on 4 acres of land! They are giving Vartnaw Landing exceptions for extra homes and less parking! Lena lane is a major issue also. Keeping this closed as a fire lane only is very important for the safety of children and parking safety. This high density project will put families, children and our already beaten down infrastructure at more risk. There are serious safety concerns that have not been addressed that the neighborhood is already having problems because of previous high density infill with cars having to stop short because not being about to see children running across the street due to bad street parking. Animals getting hit by cars because of parking problems and also streets are so narrow that two cars can not pass through at the same time. Yet city council thinks it is a good idea to add to this problem. Let our voices be heard and tell them that we are not on board with this project!
