If you have seen the video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=G393z8s8nFY about Ralph the Rabbit, you can see the suffering animals go through to make sure that we have safe products. Animals have rights as well, and companies that do animal testing violate there rights. You may not think that animals feel pain, but they do. They go through so much pain and suffering, and we are still not 100% sure that the products are safe for humans. More than 97% of animals die from animal testing, and every year over 100 million animals die from testing in the United States alone. This is an unacceptable amount of animals dying, especially since now we have more advanced technology to determine if a product is safe or not without using animals. 90% of all animal testing is wasted because it does not produce any new approved medicine. That means animals are being abused for no good reason. The top 5 animal tester in the world is in China, over 20.5 million animals get tested. Next is The Untied States which is 15.6 million, then Japan which is 15.0 million animals, Canada is 3.6 million, Australia is 3.2 million. That is an unacceptable number of animals being tested and this needs to end. What's even worse is that after animals are tested they are either re-used or killed in an inhumane way. They are either decapitated, or they have there neck broken, or they inhale a unsafe amount of Carbon-Dioxide.
