A gentle pregnant elephant came to a village, hungry and looking for food. Humans gave it a pineapple, laden with crackers. The elephant trusted and put it in her mouth. The crackers burst and damaged her mouth and tongue. She ran in pain but harmed no one. Finally she went and stood in the river, starving and rotting untill death came and set her free from the intolerable pain.

I demand strong punishment for the murderers.
