M.A.C is known internationally as an iconic brand of cosmetic products that are unfortunately tested on animals to ensure the safety of the products prior to the use of humans. Tragically, more than 100 million animals are killed each year in laboratories worldwide and all procedures involved in testing have the potential to cause a great deal of suffering and death for animals. M.A.C must meet the law requirements of animal testing by trading standards and consumer protection laws to acknowledge the safety of their products and so that they are not toxic and dangerous to public health. However, there must be an alternative form of testing their products to prevent further inhumane treatment of animals for our benefit and privileges of physical appearance. The use of these products is significant and are constantly being used by millions of humans daily on a global scale. However, we need to be aware that what we are using for a favourable manner, is being unfairly tested on animals. It is wrong that cosmetics and other drugs have to be tested on animals before they can be used by humans. Please help us change M.A.C's policy to ban animal testing so their products are cruelty-free and prevent further suffering of millions of animals around the world.
