I am an earnest fan of NoFX, as are many others here in Banff, AB, Canada. It is hard to put into words how personal this issue is to not just me but also to those who could not catch NoFX's performance in Edmonton.

NoFX, an inspiring punk rock band that started in the 80s has left an indelible mark on the genre and on us, their dedicated followers. Their music has been our means of escape and connection. However, their performances in Canada have been scarce. Long time followers know how special it would be to experience a NoFX concert right here in Banff.

This is why we are appealing to Melisa's Misteak, a loved local venue, and NoFX themselves to unite and bring this extraordinary show to Banff. The potential benefits for the local community and the band are substantial. Live shows boost local economy by driving increased patronage to local businesses such as bars and accommodations (Canadian Live Music Association). NoFX, on the other hand, will have the chance to reconnect with their avid Canadian fanbase.
