As proud homeowners in the coveted Braemar community, we cherish the privacy and serenity of our residential environment. Living in a community where many homes are selling at or near one million dollars, we should have the rights to privacy and tranquility that are currently compromised by the restriction to only have farm style wood 4ft picket or cross board fences for single family homes. Having a six foot white vinyl privacy fencing in our yards not only uplifts the aesthetic appeal, creating an 'oasis' feeling, but also helps reduce noise that echoes throughout our backyards. 

White vinyl fences are made from polyvinic chloride (PVC), making them much more durable and flexible than conventional wood fences. Far from being merely an aesthetic addition, these fences can withstand the impacts of weather and UV damage. What's more, they require minimal upkeep, often merely needing a hose-down, and promise a lifespan of 20-30 years. 

Let us not undermine the significance of our 'home sweet home' by compromising our need for privacy and tranquility. Let us adopt the modern, durable and maintenance-friendly white vinyl fences. It's time our fencing options reflected the values and worth of our esteemed community.
