My personal journey with concentration issues in classrooms has led me to understand the importance of supportive aids like music to improve focus. Classrooms are at times excessively noisy, making it difficult for students like me. Many schools still prohibit the use of phones and AirPods, denying us an effective mechanism to cope with the distracting environment.

Recent studies indicate that listening to music can indeed help increase concentration levels and productivity, particularly among students. A study from the University of Miami found that participants who listened to music completed their tasks more quickly and had better ideas overall than those who didn't (University of Miami). To promote mental health and well-being of students, schools must reassess their rules on gadget use.

We petition to allow students to use phones and AirPods at school, ensuring that young minds are provided with an environment where they can focus, learn, and grow without distractions.
