Permit Dog-Friendly Blue Jays Games in Toronto

Permit Dog-Friendly Blue Jays Games in Toronto
The Issue
Toronto Dog Walk Club (@t.odogwalkclub_) & Toronto Dog Moms (@torontodogmoms) are teaming up to bring back dog-friendly Blue Jays games. Sharing a passion for pets in the city we want to show that just as other cities have done, Toronto can also have a dog-friendly baseball games.
The City of Toronto is home to approximately 230,000 dogs (according to City of Toronto data). This means that there's a significant number of us who would appreciate more opportunities for fun and engagement with our pets.
We are teaming up together to push the needle forward on this initiative that we are both passionate about. Not only would this initiative bring joy to many pet owners and their dogs, but it could also allow for a fresh new audience at games. In other cities where similar initiatives have been introduced - such as the 'Bark at the Park' event by Major League Baseball teams in America - they've proven popular among fans.
It's time we brought this spirit of inclusivity to our furry friends here in Toronto too. Let's relive history and allow players with pups on the field for a pre-game parade and let them have the chance to catch a ball - not just for fun, but also as part of fostering an even stronger sense of community among pet owners within our city. Sign this petition if you agree that it's time for dog-friendly Blue Jays games!
