The Warwick City Council met for the 2nd time last night and voted unanimously to BAN the commercial sale of dogs & cats! It is done. It is final. The City of Warwick has spoken and NO PERFECT PUPPY WILL EVER OPEN IN THEIR CITY!!! Sending HUGE thanks to #PresidentSolomon & Jeremy Rix for introducing the legislation. Another BIG thanks to the rest of the council members who not only supported this legislation, but unanimously asked to co-sponsor it!!! Now, EVERY SINGLE #RhodeIslandRepresentative better sit up and take notice. It's time to step up or step out. This is the 2nd town in 6 months to ban this barbaric practice and it will NOT be the last. The #WarwickCityCouncil has literally SHOWN YOU what humanity looks like. They have SHOWN YOU how to protect innocent consumers and innocent animals. Now, step up, listen to your constituents or ask yourself why you're even here.
