The "skip intro" button was invented by some genius in the streaming world, and I am here for it in almost every use case EXCEPT for one: When it appears after the cold open on Succession. 

Nicholas Britell went SO HARD for this song he won a FUCKING EMMY and you're giving people the option to press SKIP on this? 

Think about everything that has happened since the Succession theme song was released in 2018. Here was Nick, banging away on his keyboard to pump out a score so powerful it shifted the space-time continuum, and HBO Max has the audacity to offer a "skip" button. 

It's frankly offensive. 

Most of the time we can be grateful for the existence of skip intro but not this time. This is a petition to get HBO Max to remove the option to "skip intro" from all episodes of Succession.
