In Hinduism, there are many gods and each God has it believers. Many times people of all types and from each strata depict them by impersonation. These impersonation is done very inappropriately most of the times and looks derogatory. This hurts the sentiments of the people having their faith in that religion and God.

I want this social practice to be stopped which is most prevalent in Hinduism only. Most of the religions do not permit such type of impersonation and in a way it is good.

In Hinduism we don't have any such restrictions and people do it in general for their personal benefits. It looks very odd that the god one respects and worship is being personated by a begger begging at a street corner.

This practice must be stopped by creating a general awareness among the public. This type of impersonation may be allowed in certain situations with conditions. Small kids upto the age of 6-yrs , people performing in a religious play or if such an impersonation is needed for creating some positive social impact may be allowed with clearly defined conditions and rules.

This will bring a social change and will stop embarrassing the persons following that perticular faith.

This is a form of social evil and must be stopped as soon as possible.
