Hi, my name is Sydney G, and I'm here to make a very important message. Animals all over the world, no matter what species, are being abused and tortured as you read this. Yet, we choose to sit around and pretend it's not our problem and there is nothing we can do. Fortunately, this is false. There is something we can do, we can make a statement, and change the ways people think about this animal testing. Is it okay for animals to be abused, and treated horribly? Taken into places so terrible, not knowing their fate? We respect human beings, and don't test on them in the same ways we test on animals. Why is this? If animals are so human, then don't they deserve that kind of respect, too? Yes, yes they do. 

The government has found a new way to possibly heal wounded soliders, with the help of Veterans Affairs, (VA). Sounds great, right? Unfortunately, it's not as happy as you'd think. This new procedure involves taking six-month-old puppies and slicing into the young dogs brain, cutting out the area that controls breathing. Then, severing along the spine  before placing the pacemakers, leaving the puppy euthanized. The plan is to take the puppies hearts for the experiment, which means killing thousands of innocent puppies to experiment on something that might not be successful. Do you think this is okay? Absolutely not! No one deserves this inhumane treatment, even these seemingly worthless puppies (they are not). If given the chance, I believe you must to everything you possibly can to help these suffering animals. Take a stand, and support what you know to be right.
