Stop portraying animal activists as abusive & ignorant. End BWVAKTBOOM.

The Issue

From the perspective of animal rights PETA is alienating many of its strongest supporters with its new Boyfriend Went Vegan ad campaign.  Animal rights activists are, by far and large, indviduals who won't tolerate abuse against animals OR humans. If this campaign continues, PETA stands to lose many of its members, the people who pay for commercials to air, animals to be rescued, pamphlets to be published, etc.

Furthermore, PETA is making itself into a laughing stock and a source of public shame in the eyes of the entire nation. Any rational person viewing this commercial would think LESS of a vegetarian lifestyle rather than more of a vegetarian lifestyle. This campaign sends the message that animal rights activists are fools at best and abusers at worst. Why trust someone who would air this commercial to make any rational decision or give good guidance?

We all know this ad is not good for women. But who else will suffer in the end due to this completely off-the-mark campaign? Animals. Those creatures PETA claims they want to protect the most.
