Hi long time friends. I haven't campaigned in a while however this story broke my heart and I could not look past it. If you have a heart please read this petition. I do not know this dog or anyone in relations to this story however I came across it on yahoo and it spoke volumes to me. There is a female dog in Canada named Lana. She was rejected by her human family and so heartbroken that when they returned her to an animal shelter she refused to move or even go on walks. Lana, who was the smallest of a large litter in Mexico, sat alone at her kennel in Toronto after the family she had been housed with no longer wanted her. She had been in and out of foster homes until a permanent home was found for her. According to the story it was a couple with children, now it doesn't go into details however it says she snapped.The family took her back to the kennel and she just shut down. It says she went into some state of depression and reading this immediately made me think of my loving friends at change.org who think outside the box when they see incredible stories like this, get moved and will do whatever it takes to create some sort of change in this situation. I know there is some person (maybe no kids, who really knows neglected animals) who's going to read this and just happens to live in Canada or even someone who doesn't live in Canada however is able to send for this Angel and really be that difference. All these foster animals need is someone who can show them there is still love out here. A lot of them have lost hope and can't understand why they've been rejected, or why they can't have a loving forever home and I honestly don't get it either. All I know is that I cried when I saw Lana's picture and felt it wouldn't be right if I didn't do something to help. If you sign this your promising to share with at least one person!
