Investigate the abuse of pets at Pet Connection, in Alliance Ohio.

The Issue

For over 20 years or more, the Pet Connection in Alliance, Ohio. Has been mistreating the animals in their shop. With recent events like Sassy being hit over the head, by an employee, it became clear to the public. That Pet Connection is not a safe place for any animal.

We the animal rights community urge, the Stark County humane society, Michael L. Rodgers of the OH DOA, PETA and the Chief of police, to investigate the horrors of Pet Connection.

Testimonies:
"I also worked at pet connection and witnessed many of the same things that this girl mentioned. Not done by Melissa in General, just the neglect done by the owners to their puppies and kittens and their refusal of care for them when they get sick. I also tried to get the owner to replace the pens in the back of puppy room because the bottoms are rusted out and the rust was going up the sides. Instead he painted over the rust to mask it. I have always felt that they only care about the money they make and not the animals in their care."

"I got a dog from here and she has always been shy and timid and never has been loving. She was treated bad there as a puppy or she wouldn't act how she does. She was hovering and shaking in the back of the cage when I got her."

“I have personally seen animal abuse here in their back shed, where small animals are kept in crammed conditions to breed often without heat, air, constant supply of water or food. The puppies are not health checked and left in cages to basically go nuts until they sell for outrages prices for poor quality unregistered dogs, which contributes to backyard breeders and puppy mills.”

Names are hidden for safety/privacy reasons, the fact of this, if anyone speaks out about Pet Connection, and although it seems discouraging. Pet Connection and other, harass and bully those who would protest and speak out on behalf of animals. We should not, let these bullies deter us away from being a voice for these animals.

Fact: Pet Connection does sell puppy mill dogs
Fact: Pet Connection, does not Vet their animals properly
Fact: The cages, tanks and other Are too small for the animals, barely any room to move
Fact: Pet Connection cleans up their store after a complaint, and then goes back to the same routine weeks later.
Fact: Employees have been witnessed abusing animals
Fact: The owner refuses to make any permanent changes for these animals.

We are urging the authorities to take proper protocol to investigate Pet Connection. We will be peacefully protesting on weekends, more information can be found here:
