Recently we all in India and in the world witnessed utmost cruelty against a poor voiceless, defenceless, handsome, young horse called SHAKTIMAN. We all prayed for his well being but as an animal lover we would have known that once a horse lays down then its almost over for a horse to stand up again on its feet. The same happened with Shaktiman where we saw the poor horse had lost his hind leg forever. It got detached from his body actually as it had multiple fractures and could not withstand the weight of a 400 kg horse. 

What was his fault? Why was he hit like this? Who hit him? What came in the mind of a person who hit him? As common citizens of India, away from politics, these questions are sure to strike one's mind. Shaktiman was on duty.

Yes, he was a very well trained police horse who participated in several parades. He used to be fast and healthy. But when and where politics comes in between, human values are lost and are put in a gutter. The same was done by BJP MLA Mr. Ganesh Joshi, who instigated the protest in Uttrakhand and in turn instigated the crowd to hit the poor animal on leg continuously, because, the horse didn't let the crowd touch his rider. The crowd, in frustration, instigation and anger attacked cruelly the Horse and hit his hind leg with sticks. Due to which the poor animal had to kneel down. 

Little did anyone would have known that now he wont be able to stand forever on his feet. For a horse to not stand on his feet is a very big thing as they sleep also while standing. 

Its high time we somehow try to get our humanity back and leave the poor animals aside. I request and demand strongly with the Government of India to get more stringent laws against the cruelty on animals and also to make sure that their so called MLA, Mr Ganesh Joshi pays back for this. I am requesting all the readers to sign this petition and help me to demand stringent laws and penalty against those who harm these voiceless, poor animals like creeps and devils. Please join hands and forward this to as many as you can so that it reaches the Government Of India and they become liable for stringent laws to be made and actions to be taken.

While seeing Shaktiman in pain and seeing him struggling to stand on his feet, i could feel as though i have lost my leg.The blood was all over. He just could not explain his plight to anyone and kept fighting for 36 days. We as humans are blessed to react and explain our plight to our loved ones. Shaktiman didn't gave up until his last breath and tried several times to come back on his feet but unfortunately just could not. 

Shaktiman, you will always be a HERO & we are proud of you .
