I am Tejas Verma, an 18 year old, who loves to feed and tend to animals, particularly dogs, and to watch the gentle creatures bond with me over those little morsels of food. On the morning of 22nd June, I came across a gut-wrenching, heart-twisting, sick and disgusting video of a boy torturing a dog while his friends watch on, and record this monstrous act. The boy first hangs the dog by a post using a rope around its neck, and later beats it(the dog isn't dead yet)using the same rope, and whirls it around before beating it some more.

How sick is that person? Why would he do that to the dog? Has mankind really stooped to such low levels?! The unknown boy, whose only source of identity is the ID-'@mehdiroodbari021' is still at large, probably laughing with his friends at their 'cool' and 'awesome' stint, while that poor dog must be lying around half-dead somewhere. As an animal lover, this video was incredibly disturbing for me to watch, and I was left distraught by it. I am sure anyone who watches it, will have the same reaction.....

Dear Readers, why is it that people are so callous about harming innocent creatures? Why do they have no remorse? Because we dont have stringent laws in place. Because such people don't respect animals, or their lives. But that ends now. Let's make a stand and get this MONSTER punished and hopefully, hanged. Let's get that poor dog justice. Let's make sure this NEVER happens again. Together, we will drive this movement to victory. It's time we teach these people that ALL LIVES ARE IMPORTANT.
