Every year billions of dollars go to testing products on animals. That money makes an animal's life miserable. Sometimes people say "It's okay, animals are not people". Doesn't that mean that since animals aren't people if we test on them the results aren't going to translate 100% of the way?

Apply yourself to the situation: If your child, sibling, or best friend was in surgery, and the doctor told you, "This operation will be a bit risky but don't worry, we tested it on a rat, and he pulled through. I can assure you the DNA records are very similar and I suspect all will go smoothly." How would you react? I certainly hope that you would be outraged, I would.

I am putting this petition out because, I have experience fostering dogs. One of them was in an abusive situation, and he died. I vowed to take a stand against abuse and I need help to do that. In honor of him, please sign!
