End Mistreatment of Animals in Farms

End Mistreatment of Animals in Farms
The Issue
The lives of animals do not belong to humans. We know we don't need to convince anyone that animals have rights. They have just as many rights as we do, but they are not being treated fairly. Animals in farms waiting to be killed for humans to eat are being treated horribly and are brutally tortured right before they're killed. Cows are being placed in closed off areas with little to no room for them to move, chickens being injected with extra hormones for them to look “more plump” and “healthy” when in reality they may be one of the most unhealthy animals there because the environment they live in is unhealthy for them! And piglets being taken away from their mothers and put into closed rooms with no fresh air or sunlight or room for them to play. All of these animals have small pens and live an unhealthy life. Animals should be treated right, at least before they're killed and packaged for us to eat. It's okay to eat meat. But most people don't realize that the meat they are eating were unhappy animals that were being treated horribly and brutally tortured their whole lives and then slaughtered. The not so funny thing is that this comes back around to us humans, we are the ones eating poorly treated animals. The unhealthy animals that are being injected with hormones and taken away from their mothers and put into rooms with no sunlight and fresh air. These animal are unhealthy for us to eat and can even transfer illnesses, diseases, and even cancers due to the way they are treated. We are the ones eating these sad animals. Tell me , would you rather eat a sad, mistreated, unhealthy animal or a happy, very well treated, and healthy animal. Sign this petition to make a change. Let’s start looking at the process rather than the final product. Not only for us but for these animals that deserve a better life before being killed and used as meat.
