Shelters for Stalking Victims/ relocation programs

Shelters for Stalking Victims/ relocation programs
The Issue
Stalking is a scary and insidious attack on the target leaving lasting emotional marks that may be present forever. PTSD and anxiety disorders are associated with stalking. Cohersive control and a need for power over the victim is an obsession.
Stalking can be cyber stalking, harrassment, loss of. property and assets. Unwanted attention or attention seeking and can be come dangerous and unpredictable. Tracking locations, leaving unwanted gifts and showing up without notice is also ways stalking presents its self.
When you think of stalking you immediately think ex partner or what is called intimate partner violence. This is a problem however there is a whole other group of stalking victims that were not involved with the perpetrator. We often get ignored and have no safe haven for us since Shelters cater to intimate partner violence or family violence only.
Stranger stalking is not considered domestic violence and is left in this blank void category where there is no help available. No shelters for the victims that some deranged neighbor or even a stranger terrorizes you freely cause there is no help.
Police do absolutely nothing even after multiple reports. I have been called emotional, told to get cameras generally blown off and get no results from the reports I filed. Police are especially ignorant of cyber stalking and revenge porn.
I empathize with every stalking victim and only hope to open officials eyes about this demographic of stranger stalking victims that gets zero help. Shelters and relocation plans would be very beneficial to these victims. We fall through the cracks and when we feel in danger there is no place to go except homeless shelters which are packed with men. We are victims and some of us fear men.
So I urge the appropriate organizations to consider something to look into in Pennsylvania and maybe around the country.
I have feared for my life and had no where to go! This isn't acceptable on any level!
Thank you for you time
