Penn State announced on April 12, 2021 that 96% of class sections offered would be in-person. Students selected classes for fall 2021 based on the mode of instruction. Students signed leases and made plans based on their class modality status.

Some Penn State students have now been notified that their in-person sections have changed to a different mode.

Fully vaccinated students who registered for in-person sections should be able to keep their classes in-person.
