Hey Neighbors,

Though we have been quiet for a while, our efforts are still going strong! Here's a short list of what we've been doing. 

We've met with two elected officials (Andrew Hevesi and Lynn Schulman) recently, both being supportive of a study to re-imagine Austin Street! We will be continuing to communicate with them until we have a proposal from DOT. In the meantime, we encourage everyone who has the time to email Lynn Schulman's office (LSchulman@council.nyc.gov) to show your support for this. Don't be shy, she likes hearing from people! 

Our business outreach is still going, with more and more businesses signing our letter of support!

Finally, tonight at 7 pm is our monthly volunteer meeting! If you would like to join, please email pedro@ASaferAustinStreet.com and we'll add you to the invite.
