Hello my name is Cedell Williams, i would like to make E Bradley Ave a safer street to cross for people & children in the community.

On August 14th of 2022 to my Fiancee Janae jones was hit by a speeding car while trying to cross the street on East Bradley Avenue. She died immediately hours after her 29th birthday.  She left behind a ten-year-old son fiancee, mother, father, brother, sister and a lot more of family & friends thats effected by her death. Janae is dearly missed & although nothing could ever bring her back, Preventing this from happening to any children or person Trying to cross the street on Bradley ave would make a difference. Theres constant traffic, speeding drivers, & the street is really dark at night  making it difficult for drivers to see as well as unsafe for pedestrian to cross especially in the night.. 

So I ask the community as well as anyone else to sign this petition to better pedestrian safety on East Bradley Avenue in El Cajon California. Whats needed to do so is,

• Better street lights all the way up and down the street so pedestrians can be seen.
• light up crosswalk that signals to cars pedestrians are crossing 
• Slow down the speed limit from 40 to 25. This area has a-lot of kids and a christian academy school.
• 4. Speed bumps to help enforce speed limit

If successful in doing so I would like to name the crosswalk in remembrance of my fiancee.
