Molly of Denali is a fantastic show, and the best part about it is that it gives representation for an vastly underrepresented peoples - Alaska Natives. However, PBS determines renew-worthiness based on popularity, and Molly of Denali, while popular, isn’t as popular as (sigh) Daniel Tiger or Pinkalicious. This is why they cancelled Ready Jet Go!, another favorite of mine, Pinkalicious stole its ratings.

It has almost been 1 year since Molly debuted, and yet PBS has yet to renew it. If it isn’t renewed by the time the show hits 1 year on the air, that means it could possibly be cancelled. Do you really want a spoiled white girl who’s obsessed with pink to hog the airwaves, or a smart, hard-working Native American. It’s up to PBS to decide this, and if they choose the former, it’ll look really racist on their part.  That’s why I’m asking YOU, yes YOU to sign the petition and save the show.
