PayPal is harming legitimate sellers and business people by holding their money for prolonged periods of time, restricting and suspending accounts needlessly, profiting off the interest earned from money that is not theirs, and making it very difficult in general to run a business or charity using PayPal.

PayPal hides behind the guise of protecting us from scammers when all they are doing is:

1.) Making it easier for scammers to get onto PayPal and ebay because it's very easy to buy fake PayPal and ebay accounts, and scammers know this. The rest of us legititmate sellers and small businesses are stuck with frozen accounts and no access to our money.

2.) Earning money off of the interest generated from the accounts they needlessly and without a full explanation restrict or suspend. PayPal has put itself in a position where it has a very profitable motive to needlessly restrict accounts and hold our money because PayPal profits when it does this sort of thing. 

3.) Harming charities, like mine, because for no reason they freeze accounts for suspicious activity that they won't disclose. 

Enough is enough. PayPal either needs to be regulated by the government like a bank would be, change its business practices, or go out of business. Personally, I don't care which one of these happens, but something has to be done to address the scam and harmful business practices that I believe PayPal represents.
