The online payment platform PayPal has a truly global footprint - available in 144 countries in the world.

However today, PayPal is still not supported in places like Ghana, Liberia etc. This means that in these developing countries Software Developers struggle to take advantage of global and local online payments at the same time. This makes software monetisation difficult and stiffles innovation and growth.

PayPal in Ghana would mean merchants in Ghana who make their businesses available online would have a Global customer base, when they integrate PayPal. This would be transformative to livelihoods and the local economy.

As friends of Ghana, Liberia etc please help me bring this to the attention of PayPal and the rest of the world. Let us change lives by making the digital economy more inclusive.
