Following are the problems that are currently being faced by Indians:

1. Currently PayPal allows either credit card or only VISA debit card to make purchases with the PayPal account. It is not easy to get a credit card. So, PayPal should allow all Indian debit cards, such as RuPay, to make it easy to load money.

2. Paypal can be used as an e-wallet in all other countries. But in India, it cannot be used as an e-wallet. It is compulsory that the PayPal balance should be auto withdrawn daily to our bank account.

3. The payment received in the PayPal account can’t be used for the purchase of any goods or services. One has to withdraw to the bank account only. To make a payment for any products or services, one has to pay via the debit card or credit card only.

4. Non-Indian PayPal accounts can send and receive personal payments, but Indians aren’t allowed to collect personal payments through PayPal.

5. An Indian merchant with an Indian PayPal account can’t accept payments from other Indian PayPal account because payment from an Indian PayPal account to a different Indian PayPal account isn’t possible.

All these problems should be analyzed and a proper decision should be taken.
