Vumatel and ISP's should reimburse customers for downtime after loadshedding!
The Issue
Over the last couple of days, we have experienced a growing length in time that we are unable to connect to the internet after load-shedding. This has gone past an acceptable amount of time and has left private clients and businesses without connectivity for many hours at a time causing loss of productivity and income. We should not be held responsible for a service promised and paid for that can not be kept because of lack of infrastructure and proper precaution. We request that a fair adjustment is made to our bills to compensate for the loss of connection and downtime.
