Music plays a big part in my life as I'm sure it does for most of us. I have taken the lyrics from a favorite multi cultured Christian Hip hop group called (SoulJahz) and reworded it somewhat to create this pledge. 
 I am a firm believer in (One Planet,One people) In signing this action we actually pledge a few things. 

1) That we always try to have love for all people no matter what their Color, race, religion, origin, sexual preference, beliefs, situation or social status may happen to be.

2) That we strive to be quick at giving praise and edifying each other and refrain from criticism or looking down on others.

And three.  As we all make our way through this life we always try to pay it forward and give a helping hand expecting nothing in return.


It is Gods' pen that paints our skin with melanin.
      And so begins our history,Yet some curse us for his creativity.
Thus our nativity is a scene for injustice.                       
Just us created in his image best wishes for faded color lines debated these lives of mine.

Freedom,friendships, equality all erased or edited by differences and race.
A race that some are still running but are about to be erased by hate.
So we wait!

Dreaming like Martin I awoke to the stroke of Gods' brush on my flesh.
I realized that we are still blessed as we all are so stand tall and we can not fall.

So let us all take steps toward unity walking away from follies of yesterday paying attention to tomorrows so as to rectify coming sorrows.

We were meant to love each other as sister and brother who are all under Gods' sun!
We were also meant to eat at the table of brotherhood Sisterhood, my hood, your hood.

Be ever mindful that the good in us people who were created equal is deep in our souls within, and not in the hues that God will choose to paint our skin!
