Pawtucket Students and parents are struggling with distance learning.  Even our Governor believes that Pawtucket Students should be back to school doing in person learning. The students of Pawtucket are missing out on the social interactions and the one on one education experience with there teachers, that students K-12 need. This could cause irreparable mental, social and emotional damage to the students of Pawtucket. In person learning has been suggested as the best form of education at this time for students by the Department of Health and the CDC. This petition is requesting signatures from students, and families, supporting in person learning for the city of Pawtucket. lf we can recieve 150 signatures within 30 days this petition will be delivered to the Pawtucket school committee and the Pawtucket school department as well as the Governor of the state of Rhode Island. This is a petition for Pawtucket students to return to a safe in person learning.
