Pause the Union - For Nurses at Legacy Salmon Creek Hospital

Pause the Union - For Nurses at Legacy Salmon Creek Hospital
The Issue
IT'S OKAY TO WAIT AND SEE...
Confused about unionization at Legacy Salmon Creek and want time to get more information? Do you want to wait and see if the merger/acquisition even happens before making a decision to unionize? Did you sign a union authorization card without fully understanding what you were signing and want to take back your card? Or do you simply not want to be a part of a union at all and feel it's unnecessary?
Signing this petition against union representation at Legacy Salmon Creek allows employees to wait in order to gather more information or see if the merger/acquisition even goes through. It also allows employees who may have signed a union authorization card without fully understanding what it was to revoke that card and wait. Signing this petition gives those who do not want to see Legacy Salmon Creek unionized a voice against the union efforts. Signing this petition does NOT impede the ability to form a union at a later time. We can take a pause.
PETITION AGAINST UNION REPRESENTATION
We, the undersigned employees, do NOT want to be represented by the Washington State Nurses Association and/or the Oregon Nurses Association (“Union”), do NOT want to join the Union, and do NOT
support the Union in any manner.
To the extent that any of the undersigned employees have ever previously signed a Union “authorization card” or other indication of support for union representation, the undersigned employee hereby REVOKES that card, effective immediately. More specifically, our employer, the Union, and all third parties or arbitrators must take NOTICE that any such card signed by an undersigned employee is NULL and VOID.
Should our employer ever recognize the Union as the bargaining representative of employees, the undersigned employees hereby petition the National Labor Relations Board to hold a DECERTIFICATION ELECTION to determine whether the majority of employees truly wish to
be represented by the Union.
